Number Patterns, Book 1, is designed to assist Year 2+ pupils to develop an understanding of number patterns, through a series of 32 activity sheets involving the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 10:
Number Patterns, Book 2, is designed to assist Year 5+ pupils to develop an understanding of number patterns, through a series of 32 activity sheets involving the numbers 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 & 12:
For each number both books include the following activities:
- picture dot-to-dot
- number array dot-to-dot
- mazes
- shading squares / rectangles
These resources have been designed to provide opportunities for pupils to …
- practise counting,
- practise writing digits,
- improve manual dexterity as they join dots and trace number patterns through mazes,
- develop their recall skills of number patterns, which will assist them when learning multiplication facts.
